Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program 2025-26

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) invites applications from Pakistani/AJ&K nationals for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme (2025-26), launched by the Hungarian Government for Bachelor's, One-Tier Master's, Master's and PhD studies.

SCHOLARSHIP TYPES

Stipendium Hungaricum scholarships are available for Pakistani students fulfilling basic eligibility criteria in specified disciplines and other requirements of Hungarian universities under the following programs:

Bachelor's Degree
One-Tier Master's Degree
Master's Degree
PhD Degree

How to Apply

The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program 2025-26 is open to Pakistani students for Bachelor's, One-Tier Master's, Master's, and PhD studies in various disciplines offered by Hungarian universities.

How to Apply:

It is MANDATORY for applicants to submit online applications at both the Hungarian and HEC.

To Apply (Hungarian side) Online Application:
- Visit the official website: https://stipendiumhungaricum.hu/apply/
- Register and create an account.
- Complete the online application form and upload the required documents.
- The application deadline is January 15, 2025 (1600 Hours Pakistan Standard Time).
HEC Online Application:
- Visit the HEC scholarship portal: http://scholarship.hec.gov.pk/
- Register and complete your profile.
- Select "Hungarian Scholarship Program" and submit your application.
- The HEC application deadline is also January 15, 2025 (1600 Hours Pakistan Standard Time).
Important Notes:

1-HEC may conduct written test (HAT/USAT) for candidates. In the case of written tests, minimu marks are required for consideration of application.

2-Only applications submitted through HEC online portal will be accepted. The recommendation nominating agency i.e., HEC will be final and binding.

3-Only applications marked as SUBMITTED will be entertained for nominations subject to fulfille criteria. It is the applicant's responsibility to submit the application before the deadline. Once s the application form cannot be edited or amended.

4-Fulfilling eligibility criteria and submission of application do not guarantee selection.
Applicants are advised to submit their queries/issues by submitting a request at https:/onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk.

5-Read All Instructions Carefully before apply.

6-Education Testing Council (ETC) Pakistan is expected to conduct HEC aptitude test.

7-HEC approved study fields can be found at www.hec.gov.pk/site/ARL.

8-Hard copies of applications and other documents are not required at this stage of the application. However, applicants are required to keep a record of all the submitted documents.

9-Both online applications (Hungarian Portal and HEC) are mandatory.

10-Late applications will not be accepted.

11-Carefully review the eligibility criteria and required documents before applying.
