During the time, The tournament was modified with several format changes throughout its history, like introducing a knockout stage and other times incorporating a group stage followed by semi-finals and a final. This tournament was held every two years, but later on the gap was increased / decreased as per the situations. It is the most exciting and entertaining event in the cricket after World Cup.
