گلوکارہ  نور جہاں اور فلم ڈائریکٹر شوکت حسین رضوی کی شادی 1944  میں شادی کی۔ ان کے  تین بچے پیدا ہوئے۔ اکبر حسین رضوی، اصغر حسین رضوی اور ایک بیٹی ظل ہما۔
 سال 1947 میں پاکستان کی آزادی کے بعد، رضوی اپنی اہلیہ نور جہاں اور اپنے 3 بچوں کے ساتھ پاکستان آ گئے اور اور بعد میں پاکستان میں کئی فلمیں بنائیں۔  1953 میں انہوں نے نورجہاں کو طلاق دے دی اور  اداکارہ یاسمین سے شادی کر لی۔

میڈم نور جہاں کی صاحبزادی ظل ہما نے  عقیل بٹ سے شادی کی جو  لاہور کی نسلی کشمیری برادری میں ایک مشہور جوہری  تھے۔  وہ ایک اداکار بھی تھے، جنہوں نے 1960 اور 1970 کی دہائیوں کی مختلف فلموں میں معاون کردار ادا کیے۔ ظل ہما کے چار بیٹے ہیں اور ان میں سے ایک احمد علی بٹ ہیں۔ 

بٹ نے بطور اداکار اپنے کیریئر کا آغاز تھیٹر سے کیا۔ بعد میں اس نے ٹیلی ویژن کا رخ کیا، جٹ اینڈ بانڈ، ربڑ بینڈ اور انسپکٹر کھوجی میں نظر آئے۔ وہ بعد میں فلموں میں کام کریں گے۔ انہوں نے ایک کامیڈین کے طور پر بھی اپنا کیریئر بنایا ہے۔

بٹ نے اپنے کیریئر کا آغاز موسیقی میں کیا، جہاں وہ ایک گلوکار اور ریپر کے طور پر متبادل راک بینڈ کے رکن تھے،  کا آغاز اپنے جٹ اینڈ بانڈ کے شریک اداکار فواد خان کے ساتھ کیا۔
 احمد بٹ نے ماڈل فاطمہ خان کے ساتھ 10 جولائی 2013 کوشادی کی۔ 2014 میں ان کے ہاں ایک بیٹا پیدا ہوا جسکا نام اذان علی بٹ ہے۔ احمد بٹ اور فاطمہ کی جوڑی پاکستانی میڈیا کی خوبصورت اور کامیاب جوڑی میں سے ایک ہے۔
