What is Govt. of Punjab Free Laptop Scheme?

On the Directions of Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab, Govt. of Punjab have decided to distribute Latest Laptops to intelligent students of Punjab Province.Registration has begun for the "CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025," which the Punjab government stated a few months ago will provide free computers to deserving pupils.

The government plans to give 110,000 of the newest computers to eligible students as part of the program. According to the chief minister, the program, which is also available to matriculated and intermediate students, would provide computers to 2000 minority children.

Which Ltest Laptop Will be Given To Students in Punjab?

The Chief Minister's Laptop Program will provide 13th generation laptops and Core i7 PCs to students throughout the province. Free Laptops will also be given to 2,000 minority students and those who performed well on the Secondary and Higher Secondary School Examinations in order to promote research and education.

How Laptops will be distributed?

20,000 university students
14,000 college students
4,000 technical and agricultural college students
2,000 medical and dental students
32% of recipients will be from South Punjab

Twenty thousand university students, fourteen thousand college students, four thousand technical and agricultural college students, and two thousand medical and dental college students will all receive laptops. Thirty-two percent of the students who receive laptops will be from South Punjab.

Who is Eligible To Apply For Laptop Scheme?

The student must reside in one of Punjab's districts.

Must be enrolled in any public university or college's first or second semester of a bachelor's degree.

For colleges and universities in the public sector (minimum of 65% in intermediate)

For Universities and Colleges in the Public Sector of Medicine and Dentistry (minimum of 80% in Intermediate)

No laptop program may be given to a student.

When Laptops Will be Distribute?

Registration for the initiative has begun, and that the distribution of laptops is expected to start after Ramadan more likely to happen in April or May this year.

Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, had earlier announced that Pakistan had received its first consignment of laptops.
As part of the Honhaar scholarship program, the chief minister will hold ceremonies to deliver laptops in a number of areas.

The web portal is open for registration for specific time. No last date is announced and hopefully portal will be open till next week. Till now more than 34000 have applied for the free laptop scheme.
